| All the stars lined up for the 3rd Annual Teke Toys for Tots Party. We started off strong with the help of Arleen Sammuels and the Girl Scouts of Troop 920 (46 Toys), then Darrryl Morris (9 Toys), followed by the Warren Hicks surprise Courtesy of Cub Pack 806 (89 Toys) which put us on par with last year's contribution before the party had even started.. We even traded the snow of years past for balmy weather..
Those who could not attend such as Trev Smith, Kat Higgins-Monihan, John Schlesinger and others made sure to get Toys to the party. We were honored with the visit of USMC Staff Sargeant ChuckWall who happened to be a Teke from Sigma-Beta Chapter, Brockford College! Pretty cool no? As the evening went on, guests enjoyed the buffet and bar and the toys piled on around the Xmas tree. Vince and Cathy even brought over one hundred stuffed animals. When John Devaney, Andy Hight and myself counted the toys the next morning we were amazed to talley a record 375 Toys! The Toys for Tots party is also the occasion for recognizing our fraters for their good deeds this year. Pict by Sebastian Völcker |
| On Sunday March 21, 2004 Actives and Alumni met in Frater Warren Hick's neighborhood club house in Chesterfield County. The Actives outlined the state of the chapter and brought the Alumni up to speed on the positive and the issues to be dealt with. Alumni asked questions, offered opinions and ideas in a congenial atmosphere. It was thus an informed Alumni membership that then moved on to form the Board of Advisors for Rho-Kappa Chapter. The following fraters answered the call: Scott Kasper, Prytanis |
