| The Process:
I worked from photo, to sketch, to painting, in about four days, which is amazingly fast for me. Is it because it is a portrait of a man which is easier for me? Is it because Will and I look alike, and it is as if I am painting myself? Not sure.
As I am typing this the painting is essentially finished unless I decide that I want to put more detail on the braid of the hat. There are a few places I need to touch up because I put my "big ole fangers" on the wet paint. After the paint dries some, there migh be some more places to work on.
