What started me painting in earnest was my lovely wife and her crazy ideas. She envisionned a folliage mural for the loftiest room of Clover Forest Plantation. After approaching a professional muralist -- sticker chock -- we decided to do it ourselves. Concurrently to painting the mural, I took a class from artist Amie Oliver at the Richmond Visual Art Center. |
